I purchased this camcorder 9 months ago and the battery will no longer charge. I contacted Flip Video customer service which offered a few suggestions on what the problem might be. Nothing fixed the problem and the camcorder no longer works. The company only warrants for 90 days after purchase. I gave it one star because I liked the idea of such a tiny camera and for how small it was, the picture was decent. I do think however that if you pay $200 for a product, it should work more than 9 months.

I was so looking forward to use and enjoy the Flip. I really want to love this wee thing. But I can't.
My computer doesn't meet minimum system requirements. Never mind that there's no mention anywhere on Amazon's site of the minimum requirements. I dealth with TheFlip tech support, who delayed responding and from one thing to another, they finally told me that the requirements were of 3GHz P4 chip! I had told them 3 weeks prior to that my PC is a 1.6Ghz machine. Because of the delays, the Amazon.com return window of 30 days has passed. I am stuck with a product I cannot use, and can't return because of the delays from tech support.
I am not happy.

I received this camcorder right before I went on vacation. Its easy to use and compact. Battery life is as stated. Pictures are good, can be a litte grainy, but you get what you pay for.

So much technology in so small a package. HD video quality is outstanding. Just wish the battery life were longer.

I normally don't write reviews this bad, but this product really deserves a bad review...
I received this Flip MinoHD for Christmas last year. The concept is great: an iPod-like device that records HD video. When it works, it does this admirably. I don't think the image quality quite looks HD (grainy, and blurry), but it's more crisp than I expected from shuch a small lens. The touch buttons are finicky, and sometimes you can just lightly touch them like an iPhone, but other times you have to press down firmly as if pushing a regular button.
A couple months after I received it, the thing crashed completely. It won't turn on, and my computer won't recognize it. I tried all the reset techniques proposed by the company and others found online, and none of them work. It's a fancy paperweight now, and it's outside the mfg's 90-day warranty.
In all, I got about 30 minutes of video from this product before it crashed. Future buyers beware.
