I own a sony dvd video player and lately after buying flip video I stopped using it due to ease of use and video quality of the Flip video camera.
Flip video comes with excellent software, worth much more than any software that ever came with Sony. With this software you can edit, send email
take snapshots, build dvd etc. Battery life is fine and I own 120m HD unit. It lasts very long time and doesn't take long to recharge. In total I am
very satisfied with this excellent product and looking forward to taking a little camera anywhere I go on vacations. Thank you Flip video for putting so much into so little ;)

The camera works great. Does a good job. My only problem is with the software. When it burns the DVD, it does not have a compatable format for the DVD player.

Suprisingly Amazing video from this little powerhouse. For quick on the go snip-its of video or all those times you said "Boy I wish I had a video camera right now" well this is the one for you. Great to catch all those unexpected life's memorable moments at the drop of a hat. The quality of the video is very good. The zoom feature is not as advanced as the bigger clunkier video cameras but really decent. The plug and play feature to transfer your videos to your computer couldn't be easier. The software that comes on the camera itself is so easy to edit and share anybody can do it. This is one great little video camera and well worth the money to have one at your finger tips to catch those special moments.

Unfortunately, I have had a bad experience with this product. The device is wonderfully easy to use, but within 2 weeks (despite very careful treatment) it inexplicably stopped working. I wrote to puredigital/flip support centre with a very detailed description of the problem and got a set of troubleshooting steps sent back that had nothing to do with my problem - as if they hadn't bothered to read it properly. Since then I have been writing asking for more help but received no reply. Meanwhile, I have stumbled across COUNTLESS forum threads online that have expressed similar issues with faulty equipment and dodgy customer service.
Order at your own risk - the warranty only lasts 90 days!

Bought this because it's easy to use and transfer to computer and post. Great image in regular view, but lacks the same in zoom. Apparently the zoom is not physical but electronic so the closer you go (and not much range) the worse the image. However, I do keep this thing in my pocket pretty much all the time and I am constantly videoing everything! Uploads are extremely easy and the software is very good.
